A quick chat with the designer behind Jazz
Have you done anything exciting this summer?
This summer we've been busy with buildig or house which is located on an island called Gällnö, situated in the Stockholm archipelago. My husband and I used to rent a house on the island together for many years and it was really a dream come true when we finally got the chance to buy an undeveloped plot there four years ago.
What are your expectations for the autumn?
The house project will be completed this fall and I can't wait to move in. When that is done I will share my time between Stockholm and Gällnö and I really look forward to working in our new studio with nature close by and being able to follow the seasons change outside.
Finally, how did you come up with the name Jazz?
The name Jazz came about because of the shape. It exudes elegance and glamor and brings to mind both Art Deco, wind instruments and the heyday of jazz.
