Alba challenges our conventional way of decorating with flowers and vases. The relationship between the bowls forms the perfect angle for cut flowers.
Twigs, leaves or flowers can be placed between the inner and outer bowls to create a beautiful still life.
Alba comes in two different shapes. Made of brass and mounth blown glass.

"My role as a designer is to observe, interpret and understand the context of the products; their surroundings and their users. From this understanding, I want to design products with focus on function and aesthetics. The aesthetic appeal of a product is vital to its longevity and is crucial for it to be justified in a world of material abundance. I strive to create products that are sustainable, with timeless design and with thought through materials", says Mika Lindblad.
Mika has a BFA from Beckmans College of Design and double MFAs from Konstfack. Today she is running Mika Lindblad Studio.
