Margarita Matiz Bergfeldt

Margarita Matiz Bergfeldt was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1973. Today she lives and works in Stockholm since first moving here after getting accepted to Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design. In 1999 she graduated with a MFA in industrial design.

Her works cover a variety of fields such as design for space, product design, crafts, curatorial work and exhibitions promoting the importance of design abroad. She uses her profession as a tool to establish platforms, encourage for dialogue and creative thinking. In 2012 she founded the Initiative SEART to promote and highlight the emerging art scene in Sweden.
